Abstract. Pulsation crystallizers are used in dewaxing and deoiling processes in the production of base oils and paraffins. The article provides a description of the structure of a pulsation crystallizer and the principle of its operation, methods of thermal and hydraulic calculation of the apparatus. Algorithms and computer programs developed on the basis of these methods make it possible to calculate the temperature profile in the crystallizer, the cooling rate of the raw material flow, and evaluate the intensity of mixing in sections of the apparatus. The required parameters of the pulsation system that ensure the operation of the crystallizer are determined: pressure and flow of inert gas.
