Abstract. Stable provision of the country’s needs and the special military operation in particular with high-quality jet fuel is one of the most important tasks of the oil refining industry. To solve it, it is necessary to maintain maximum load of primary oil refining units (atmospheric vacuum pipestill unti (AVT)) and high-quality treatment of straight-run kerosene from sulfur compounds. Practice shows that this can be prevented by unsatisfactory operation of the condensation-refrigeration equipment of the K-2 atmospheric column and limitations on the heating temperature of the feedstock of the hydrodemercaptanization (HDM) process of jet fuel. The article considers a variant of simultaneous solution of these problems during treatment of straight-run kerosene in the HDM section located in another AVT unit. In this case, the specified kerosene is supplied not to the feedstock of the HDM block of the neighboring unit, but to the reflux of its main rectification column. It is shown that this technical solution allows simultaneously reducing the load on the condensation-refrigeration equipment of the main rectification column K-2 and reducing the required amount of heat for heating the feed of HDM section, without having any negative effects. The use of such feed supply method will significantly simplify and increase the production of the most common jet fuel in the Russian Federation TS-1.
