Abstract. The article provides an informational review of recent research in the field of synthesis and application of oxyalkylated amine compounds. The surface-active properties of such compounds are reported, associated with the presence of hydrophilic and hydrophobic fragments in the structure, which makes it possible to use them to collect oil during emergency spills on the surface of various natural waters, as well as in oil production. The processes of synthesis of oxyalkylation products of various organic compounds containing amine fragments, among which the production of hydroxyalkylates of oligomeric composition take place, are described. Ethylene, propylene, butylene oxides, as well as epichlorohydrin, were used as epoxy compounds. The preparation of surfactant compounds with a gemini structure by the reaction of hydroxypropylated amines with a number of carboxylic acids is presented, and the antibacterial properties of the final products are noted. The possibility of using oxyalkylated amines as a steel corrosion inhibitor in the presence of CO2 and CO2/H2S mixtures, for the extraction of a number of metal ions, as a demulsifier for oil emulsions, and also for the production of additives in cements has been shown. Technologies for the production of hydroxypropylated aromatic amines are described, which, in addition to surfactants, are also effective as additives for fuels and lubricating oils, and complex compositions of rubber compounds. The relevance of the research carried out in this area is substantiated due to the diversity of the compositions of oxyalkylation products, the possibility of transformation processes giving them the desired properties, as well as their areas of application.
