Abstract. The object of the study was the process of purification of associated petroleum gas from hydrogen sulfide in a vortex axial apparatus using a hydrogen sulfide neutralizer. The device was modeled in the application program, and the influence of various geometric configurations of the vortex axial apparatus of the devices on the process parameters was studied. The optimal design of the vortex axial apparatus is selected and the technological scheme of the process is proposed. The calculation of the optimal design of the vortex apparatus is based on the kinetics of the hydrogen sulfide binding process by the sorbent.
