Abstract. The effect of the degree of carbamide dewaxing on the low-temperature properties and pick-up of ethylene vinyl acetate-based depressant-dispersing additives in basic summer diesel fuel has been studied. It is shown that the use of carbamide dewaxing and packages consisting of depressant and dispersing additives can reduce the maximum filterability temperature of summer diesel fuel to a greater extent than when using them separately. The maximum effect was found when the paraffin content in summer diesel fuel was up to 5.4% by weight at a dosage of 700 ppm additive package.
Keywords: diesel fuel, depressant-dispersing additives, ethylene vinyl acetate, low-temperature properties, maximum filterability temperature, carbamide dewaxing, paraffins of normal structure.
