Abstract. The author of the article conducts research on improving the technological scheme for fractionating refinery gases into individual components using an absorption column, in which the direct-flow fraction 180 °C is used as an absorber, mixed with the circulating fraction 100-180 °C, which is obtained at this facility through precise fractionation. The purpose of the study is to find options for upgrading the technological scheme of plants operating under this technology in order to reduce energy consumption and increase the production of individual hydrocarbons, such as propane and butanes, contained in refinery gases. Implementing solutions for upgrading the technological scheme of the absorption gas fractionation plant will increase the production of valuable propane and butane components and reduce their losses in the fuel gas stream. In turn, increasing the production of propane and butanes will significantly increase the resources available for their use.
